Moemas Cooking Classes

I have always enjoyed teaching and it all started back in 2000 when I was a student at Leith’s School of Food and Wine, a way for students to earn some cash would be to as an assistant for the evening classes. I loved watching the transformation in people who had convinced themselves that they couldn’t cook and the pride when I proved them otherwise! Its my mission to help people to feel confident about cooking and baking for friends and family and to make it into a fun experience rather than one of stress and dread. …If you want to learn and have fun, raise your team spirit or become a domestic goddess (your housekeeper could also benefit greatly) in the kitchen then definitely join one of our classes or contact us to arrange a private class for you and or your friends.

If you could use some new inspiration for preparing the evening meal or food for the freezer then we can help. We offer a beginner’s class where the basics are covered – beautiful soups, basic pastries, perfect sauces… an intermediate class where specific recipes are taught and then specialist classes such as more involved pastry ideas and decorating and plating ideas to add the perfect finishing touch. What you get in return – You gain a solid grounding in great combinations of flavours. You get direct access to Danielle who has years of experience in running Moemas in Johannesburg, both as a Restaurant and as a Catering company as well as loads of experience and inspiration from London..
